Make a membership subscription payment to TAA International

Through this page you can pay your membership subscription, and then complete a Gift Aid declaration (if you are a UK tax payer) to increase its value to TAA International by 25% at no additional cost to yourself.

By joining us as a member you are supporting TAA International and enabling us to promote sustainable and regenerative agri-food systems in developing countries, and to mentor and support the next generation of farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, researchers and policy-makers.

Payments can be made by Paypal, credit/debit card, direct bank transfer (including international transfers such as Empesa or Western Union) or a cheque drawn against a UK bank account.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are paying by card, please ensure that the selected billing address format is appropriate for the country where your card is issued.

Membership Payments

If you are joining us as a new member or wish to renew your annual subscription using Paypal or a credit/debit card please click the Pay Now button below and then follow the prompts. Please note that Paypal are our handling agent for card transactions. You do not NOT need a Paypal account to make a card payment.

Please enter the appropriate amount when prompted:

  • Full individual member: £90
  • Developing country member (UN definition) over 30 years of age: £45
  • Concessionary member – 30 years of age or below: £15

Alternatively, for UK bank account holders, payment can be made by BACS transfer, Standing Order or cheque. A Standing Order has the advantage of ensuring your membership is renewed automatically each year. Gift Aid Declaration

If you are a UK taxpayer you can enhance your membership subscription by 25% at no cost to yourself.

By providing the information listed below, as a registered UK charity (No. 800663) TAAI can claim from HMRC a sum equal to 25% of the value of your subscription.

All fields are mandatory.

Even if you believe you may have signed a Gift Aid declaration in the past, please submit a declaration here as it helps us to ensure our financial records are up to date.

Conditions

The term “charity” below refers to Tropical Agriculture Association International as registered UK charity No. 800663.

  1. You may cancel this declaration at any time by notifying TAA International.
  2. You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax the charity reclaims on your membership subscription in the tax year (currently 25p for every £1 of your subscription).
  3. If in future your circumstances change and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that the charity reclaims, you can cancel your declaration.
  4. If you pay tax at the higher rate you can reclaim tax relief on your self-assessment tax return.
  5. If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief, ask the charity, or ask your local tax office for leaflet IR113 Gift Aid.
  6. Please notify the charity if you change your name or address.
