The new website is now bedded down well, thanks to support from Adam at Cambridge Web Solutions. There is still some work needed on the members databases but we are nearly there. Michela P has kindly agreed to help with the technical web management from May onwards.

Up-coming TAAI events.

New ‘Introductory’ membership category.

We have added ‘Introductory Membership’, aimed at students and younger professionals. It is free to join. Such members will receive our regular news alerts and vacancy summaries. We hope that this will whet their appetite and encourage them to become paid members, so that they can access full details of job opportunities and other member-only website services. Click on ‘Become a member’ for the link to the simplified ‘Introductory’ application form.

Request for Old Copy of TAAI Newsletter.

A member is seeking a copy of the June 1991 TAA Newsletter containing an article by Norman Simmons, “The earlier British contribution to tropical agricultural research“. [Do you remember the old Newsletter format – right?]. If anyone has a copy of this paper, please advise the Web Manager.
